In the city suburbs, one can find several former imperial residences with beautiful palaces and parks. Take this tour to find out the history of the places and see their beauty.

One of the highlights of the tour is the grandiose Catherine Palace with vast and old park, located in Tsarskoye Selo. The palace built in mid XVIII century and named after Empress Catherine I. During World War II the palace was destroyed. But after the war the palace was restored, as well as its main masterpiece – the one-of-a-kind Amber Room. Next landmark is the marvelous Lower Garden in another royal residence – Peterhof. There are several palaces, small and large, in this park, but the main attraction is over 100 fountains, each unique and pompous.
