Faberge Museum is a private museum with unique collection of jewelry art and decorative and applied arts of Russian artists of XIX—XX centuries. Opened in 2013 and located in Naryshkin-Shuvalov palace. The star of the collection is 9 Easter Eggs made by the genius jeweler Carl Gustav Faberge. These masterpieces of jewel art belonged to families of emperors Alexander III and Nicholas II. This series created in 1885-1917 consisted of 71 eggs, 54 of them belonged to emperors. Among the jewelry the museum collection includes paintings by Russian and foreign artists. There is also a great collection of Russian Icons. Totally, the museum’s collection consists of over 4 thousand objects.
